Web Site Developer

Summary:
A leading provider of publishing and fulfillment services is seeking a Web Site Developer to work at their headquarters located in the Dulles, Virginia office. This dynamic organization offers a stable, fast paced environment with potential for growth.

Specific job responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design, development, and maintenance tasks on internet, extranet, and intranet sites.
  • Responsible for maintaining UI design and customer experience including overall navigation flow, page layout, and creation of individual graphic elements.
  • Work with internal and external clients to design, layout, and produce html prototypes, visual interfaces, and interaction of web-based applications, micro-sites, and individual web pages that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Ensure that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design.
  • Work with marketing and development staff on style and approach for all projects including development of landing pages and other web oriented supporting materials for individual campaigns.
  • Participate in efforts to improve quality of web sites and other electronic publications as required. 

Required Experience:

  • Experience with ASP.NET is required and DotNetNuke is highly desired
  • Knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS web technologies and applications is required
  • Solid experience with JavaScript is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • B.A. or B.S. required.  BS Computer Science desired

Client is a leading provider of Enterprise Feedback Management solutions, is seeking a Web Site Developer to work at their headquarters located in  the Dulles, Virginia office. This dynamic organization offers a stable, fast paced environment with potential for growth.
Specific job responsibilities:
·         Responsible for design, development, and maintenance of all internet, extranet, and intranet sites.
·         Responsible for UI design and customer experience for our web sites and products – this includes overall navigation flow, page layout, and creation of individual graphic elements.
·         Work with Creative Services and Developers to design, layout, and produce finished files for html prototypes, visual interfaces, and interaction of web-based applications, micro-sites, and individual web pages that meet business and technical requirements.
·         Ensure that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design.
·        Work with marketing and development staff on style and approach for all projects including development of landing pages and other web oriented supporting materials for individual campaigns.
·        Use the CMS and CRM systems to build web pages for track marketing programs.
·         Participate in efforts to improve quality of web sites and other electronic publications as required.
 
Required Experience:
·         Experience with ASP.NET and .NET are a required – DotNetNuke experience is highly desirable
·         Experience in VB Script is a plus
·         Experience working within CMS and CRM systems is required
·         Advanced knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS web technologies and applications is required
·         Solid experience with each of the following is required: Director, Camtasia, Fireworks, Soundforge, Photoshop, Freehand, Dreamweaver, ImageReady, Javascript, Shockwave, and Macromedia Flash.
·         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
·         Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups
·         Good verbal and written communication skills
·         Experience with audio/video demonstration technologies is highly desirable
·         Three to five years experience in web development or web interface design
·         B.A. or B.S. in computer science, graphic design, art or related field—or equivalent academic and work experience

Consulting Associate/Senior Developer: .Net Technologies

Location: Client site, Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area

We are seeking an innovative, technically-savvy, and high-energy
developer to fill a client-facing Consulting Associate/Senior
Developer position.  We are seeking a technology consultant and
software developer with a sound understanding of the .Net platform,
C#, and SQL; experience with web development (ASP.net) and DotNetNuke
Web Application Framework  is desirable. The incumbent must have good
client-facing skills and the ability to lead projects from vision to
delivery along with other development resources.

We expect you to provide modern and critical perspective to identify
and formulate cost-effective solutions consistent with clients'
strategic goals. The job entails coordinating/supervising on-shore and
off-shore development resources and as well as working closely with
clients to ensure business needs are met by implemented solutions.

Technology Skills Required: .Net, C#, ASP.net, Database development
(SQL) experience are a must.  A minimum of 3 years of full SDLC
experience on the Microsoft .Net platform is required.

Other Minimum Qualifications: A desire to be great. Experience in a
healthcare or healthcare support industry is a plus. A quantitative
degree (computer science & engineering, economics, etc) is preferred
though not required. MBA or other graduate degree is preferred though
not required. Compensation will be competitive to aggressive with a
